Hunch’s Vibe Method™ was born about 15 years ago when I was personally blamed for one of the biggest flops in P&G history because my concept testing research gave it the green light. Oh, and when I say “blamed,” I mean the CEO used my name personally in a “fire that consultant” meeting.

 

What went wrong? 

Ignored instinct.

Despite what the research alleged, this team knew something felt off. In hindsight - this was a decent idea hiding behind a weak message, a flawed proposition, and the completely wrong launch strategy. Yep, those “proven” metrics missed it all.
